BOLGHERI

Inland from the Etruscan Coast, the little village of Bolgheri awaits you.
You can travel through the famous Cypress Avenue, a straight road bordered by centuries-old cypress trees that will take you straight to the village.
This road is truly particular and charming. It was celebrated by one of Italyís major 19th-century poets, Giosue Carducci.
Bolgheri is famous for its history and landscape, but also for the red wines that are made in the area, including the most famous, Sassicaia from Tenuta San Guido, Ornellaia from the estate of the same name, Masseto and numerous other wines that enjoy the prestigious classification “Bolgheri Superiore”.

CASTAGNETO CARDUCCI

The municipal area of Castagneto Carducci is located in the heart of the Maremma Livornese, in the centre of the so-called Etruscan Coast.
Castagneto is a small village nestling at the top of the hills, overlooked by the Castle of the Gherardesca family. An urban area, consisting of streets, roads and small squares, developed around the castle which was probably built around the year 1000
Marina di Castagneto is one of the best-known destinations along the Etruscan Coast, and has facilities for accommodation and fun, including one of the largest amusement parks in Tuscany: Cavallino Matto.

TERME DI VENTURINA

24 Km – 25 min

The Venturina spa is the most important spa centre in Val di Cornia, and dates back to the Etruscan period.
The Venturina spa park covers an area of some 60 hectares with two different springs with alkaline-earthy waters, rich in sulphur, and with a temperature of about 36∞. The setting is the green area of Val di Cornia, where you can enjoy views of the bright blue sea.
The specific nature of these waters is that they come from an immense underground river, which is enriched by minerals from the limestone rocks from which it emerges, naturally, in two craters.

BARATTI E POPULONIA

30 Km – 32 min

The park offers large areas of the ancient city of Populonia, the only case of an Etruscan urban settlement at the sea, divided according to archaeological and natural itineraries.
The splendid beach at Baratti is protected at the back by a thick pine wood that every year, with the arrival of spring, becomes populated by families and kids, ready to enjoy the first hints of the warmer season. If you are a fan of snorkelling and diving, then Baratti is a genuine treasure, just waiting for you to discover it, thanks to its wealth of flora and fauna.

CECINA

Cecina is one of the most important centres along the Tuscan Riviera, on the Etruscan Coast. The rich, dynamic and lively tourist resort of Cecina is located between the green of the hills and countryside, and the bright blue sea of the Etruscan Coast, making it a traditional destination much loved by tourists from all over Italy.
Between the old town of Cecina and its Marina, there are some three km along a tree-lined avenue.
Given the new economy of the city, the district of Marina di Cecina has grown notably, with lots of homes, shops and bars and restaurants.

SAN VINCENZO

San Vincenzo, which has been a European Blue Flag beach for many years, is an excellent tourist destination

A small town with a long-standing tourist trade. Follonica extends along the beaches of the gulf overlooking the island of Elba, from its luxuriant pine grove.
It is a popular destination with families due to its quiet location with easy access ot the beach, although young people love it for the many clubs and pubs that offer great night-life throughout the summer. In the immediate vicinity are numerous mediaeval villages, archaeological sites and the nature of the Maremma to provide countless alternatives to days on the beach.
The town has been awarded a Blue Flag as a sign of the quality of its environment and tourist services.
